One family, three stays, since 1996
Amasra Best Hotel is the home of three family-run stays: Ruhi Palace on the castle walls of Kaleiçi, Kumsal Apart on Büyük Liman Beach and Hostel Amasra in the town centre.
Our hosting in Amasra began in 1996, when Ruhi Özman opened the first apartments. Today his family looks after every guest, with the same idea that shaped everything from the start: a house that opens its door to travellers the way a local family would. Hostel Amasra is part of the Ada Apart accommodation group and has welcomed more than 1,000 guests.

We keep our places small on purpose. It lets us prepare every room with real care, pay attention to the little details and greet each guest with familiarity instead of formality. Guests often tell us it feels more like a private retreat than a hotel — the best compliment we can receive.

Our neighbourhoods are small, friendly and full of character. Step outside and you are minutes from the harbour, the castle, the beaches and the colourful streets of the old town.
We chose these locations because we wanted guests to experience Amasra the way we do: walking slowly, discovering new corners, watching the sea and feeling the calm rhythm of the town.
