From Bartın17 km · about 20 minutesRegular minibuses run between Bartın and Amasra all day. If you are driving, the road is winding but well marked.
From Istanbul · Ankara400 km · 350 kmAbout 5 to 6 hours from Istanbul and 4.5 to 5 hours from Ankara by car. Zonguldak is about 90 km away.
By planeZonguldak Çaycuma, 60–70 kmAmasra has no airport. Flights are limited, so many guests fly to Istanbul and continue by road. Take a taxi or private transfer.
By busBartın, then a minibusMost coach companies stop at Bartın bus station, with a minibus on to Amasra. Some run direct to Amasra; ask when you buy the ticket.
